Mr. Speed

asked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will list the motoring organisations and other bodies he has consulted about the proposed dim-dip regulations and the response they have sent.

In addition to discussions with the main interests involved, a large number of organisations were invited to comment in writing on the draft proposals. As at 18 February, the following organisations had replied supporting the principle of dim-dip, and many of them made further suggestions and useful detailed comments.
