§ Mr. Ian Stewart[pursuant to his reply, 2 December 1983, c. 644–645]: Section 18 applies to any person issuing notes in Scotland for less than £5, except the banks now certified under section 4 of the Act. There are no longer any banks deriving their authority to issue from section 1.
