§ Mr. Terry Davisasked the Secretary of State for Social Services, pursuant to the answer of the Under-Secretary of State, Official Report, 22 July, column 267, whether Her Majesty's Government will make it their policy to be represented at ministerial level at the international population conference to be held in Mexico City in August 1984.
§ Mr. John PattenThe decision on United Kingdom representation at the conference will take into account discussions concerning the conference which are currently taking place in the General Assembly of the United Nations, and the forthcoming meeting of the preparatory committee.
