§ Mr. Teddy Taylorasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he is satisfied with the operation of practice outlined in the statement of practice SP 16/80 relating to allowances given by the Inland Revenue for meals consumed by long-distance lorry drivers; and if, in particular, he will inquire into the reasons why some claims based on this statement of practice have taken three years to resolve.
