The process of multilateral arms control and disarmament negotiations is a continuing one. Last year, the United Kingdom and four other conntries tabled a draft comprehensive programme of disarmament. This programme envisages, in its first phase, the completion of negotiations for measures at present being negotiated or being considered internationally.
