§ Mr. Doverasked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will reconsider the exemption of vehicles used for the carriage of mail by the Post Office and any British Telecom vehicles from the need to fit tachographs.
§ Mr. EyreThese exemptions are contained in the European Community Tachograph Regulation (EEC) No. 1463/70 (as amended). There is at present no proposal to delete them from the regulation.
