§ Mr. Giles ShawIt is the responsibility of the producers of toxic waste to pay for its safe collection and disposal. I see no need to alter this arrangement. Controls over collection and disposal of toxic wastes are embodied in HSE statutes and particularly in the Control of Pollution Act 1974.
