asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he is planning any alterations to the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Waddington

No. We have no plans to make any amendments to the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.

Mr. Cryer

asked the Secretary of State for Employment, pursuant to the reply to the hon. Member for Keighley on 22 June, Official Report, c. 40, if he will list the basis for each of the 28 informations laid by Her Majesty's Factory Inspectorate under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 for the period January 1981 to May 1982.
