§ Mr. NewtonUnder the present signing arrangements most unemployed men and women aged 50 and over can sign on quarterly rather than fortnightly if they are receiving supplementary benefit only and have been unemployed for over a year. We have no plans for further relaxations in the signing arrangements for claimants in this group at the present time.
