§ 57. Mr. Winnickasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what further representations have been made to him that those in receipt of rebates but not receiving supplementary benefit should receive help towards their fuel costs.
§ Mrs. ChalkerTo date we have received about 20 representations about extending the present fuel assistance to people in receipt of housing allowances from hon. Members, organisations and individuals. Representations have also been made on behalf of those outside the supplementary benefits scheme on low incomes where no specific mention was made of housing allowances.
