§ Mr. Allan Roberts asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what future plans there are for the value added tax headquarters in Bootle, Merseyside and the 320 jobs it provides; and if he will consider the replacement of work being lost to the value added tax control division B (VCB) by the administrative transfer of other work to Bootle.
