§ Mr. Marlow asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether the child of an Irish citizen born in a British military hospital in Germany while his father was serving in the British Army will be a British citizen (a) after passage of the British Nationality Bill; or (b) if born after passage of the Bill; how this will be affected by (i) the child's present residence, (ii) the date of birth, (iii) the possession by the child of a United Kingdom passport; and (iv) the renunciation or not of United Kingdom nationality by father; and how this differs from the present circumstances.
