Mr. Marlow asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will set out in the Official Report the following information as at the latest possible date with regard to the disturbances in Brixton, Toxteth and Southall earlier in 1981: (a) the total numbers charged for each location and the numbers charged by offence, (b) the numbers dealt with by the courts, (c) a breakdown of the penalties imposed, as set out in his letter to the hon. Member for Northampton, North of 8 September, and (d) the numbers still to be dealt with by the courts; what charges are involved; and when he anticipates that all cases will be finalised.
