asked the Secretary of State for the Environment how much he estimates it would cost to clean, restore and renovate the stonework of Mr. Speaker's House.

Sir George Young:

Cleaning, restoring and renovating the stonework of the Speaker's Tower, which includes Mr. Speaker's House, is estimated to cost £30,000 at January 1981 prices.
