§ Mr. Cartwrightasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) if he will seek powers to regulate the activities of organisations or individuals claiming to offer an exorcism service to the public;
(2) if he will seek powers to control the activities of organisations or individuals seeking to involve members of the public in black magic or witchcraft.
§ Mr. Raison:We have received no recent representations about the practices referred to by the hon. Member and are not aware of any evidence that would justify the introduction of legislation of the kind he envisages.
