asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he is now able to publish the findings of his study into racial attacks.

This study has now been completed by my officials and a copy of their report has been placed in the Library of the House. I consider that the report is a significant document and I am grateful to all those bodies and individuals who contributed to the work of the study team. I have indicated in a foreword to the report the lines of action that I intend to pursue.
