§ Dr. VaughanFlagyl is used in the treatment of a wide range of serious infections. It is available on prescription in a number of formulations, all but one of which have been fully assessed under the provisions of the Medicines Act for safety, quality and efficancy. One tablet formulation has a product licence of right as it was monitored before 1971 and has not therefore been assessed.
