§ Mr. Skeetasked the Secretary of State for Energy when he expects to be in a position to come to a decision in accordance with section 8(3) of the Energy Act 1976 on whether the prices of (a) methane and (b) ethane from the gas-gathering pipeline are reasonable; and to what extent this decision will be dependent on agreement on prices between the private sector suppliers and public sector purchasers.
§ Mr. Norman LamontI have received no application for consent under section 8 of the Energy Act 1976 as regards gas to be delivered through the gas gathering line.
