§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Trade whether he will give, for the longest and most convenient stated period of time, the number and ranks of his Department's civil servants who have accepted hospitality and entertainment offered by BAT Ltd., Watney Mann and Truman or any other stated business organisations to attend the Wimbledon tennis tournament or tennis tournaments or other stated forms of entertainment; and whether, in each case, the person accepting carried out the rules governing the acceptance of hospitality by civil servants as laid down in paragraphs 9882–9893 of the Civil Service Pay and Conditions of Service Code.
§ Mr. EyreDetailed records of this kind are not kept, but all such invitations have to be considered in accordance with the existing rules governing the acceptance of hospitality by civil servants.
