§ Mr. WaddingtonThe number of working days lost through industrial stoppages in the first six months of 1980 is provisionally estimated to be 11,020,000, out of the nearly 12 million for the year as a whole. For 1979 the corresponding figures were 8,689,000, out of the 29½ million for the whole year.
