Whether the Welsh Office Agriculture Department, in their survey of agricultural marginal land areas 975WA in Wales have surveyed or intend to survey all land classified as Grade 4 and Grade 5 on the Agricultural Land Classification map which lies outside the areas designated under the EEC Less Favoured Areas Directive in those counties which presently contain areas designated under that directive.
§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Home Office (Lord Belstead)The survey extends to all areas of mainland Wales which lie outside the present less favoured areas.

- (ii) If the Welsh Office Agriculture Department in their survey of agricultural marginal lands have surveyed or intend to survey land classified as Grade 4 and 5 on the Agricultural Land Classification Map on Anglesey in the County of Gwynedd.
§ Lord BelsteadThe survey of Gwynedd at present excludes Anglesey. The case for extending the survey to cover the island will be examined after the mainland study has been completed.
