§ Mrs. Renée Shortasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will provide extra funds for the Local Authority Management Services and Computer Committee to enable it to complete its project on guidelines for councils about how to run services most efficiently more quickly.
§ Mr. KingThis programme is already receiving support through the Government's grant-in-aid to the committee. The take-up by councils of studies already made has been low, however, and I took the view that
