§ Mr. KingThe decision to make no changes to the present list of districts designated under the Inner Urban Areas Act at this time was announced on 9 February 1981—[Vol. 998, c. 603]. As my right hon. Friend then said, this decision was made in the light of assessment of the latest evidence, constraints on public expenditure, and the need to allow time to measure impact.
