HC Deb 24 November 1980 vol 994 c24W
Mr. Alfred Morris

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science why he cancelled his intended visit to the Wythenshawe college of further education on 24 October; what notice was given of the cancellation; and on what date the visit will now take place.

Mr. Mark Carlisle

I much regretted having to cancel this visit because of urgent Government business. The Manchester authority was informed of the circumstances during the afternoon of 23 October. I am now investigating with the authority the timing of a future visit.
