HC Deb 21 May 1980 vol 985 c255W
Dr. Roger Thomas

asked the Secretary of State for Wales how many people under the age of 18 years, and under the age of 21 years are employed in the county of Dyfed; and how many school leavers are expected to come on to the labour market in the current year.

Mr. Nicholas Edwards

Details of people employed, by age groups, are not available. The number of leavers from maintained secondary schools in Dyfed in the academic year 1979–80 is expected to be around 5,000, of whom about 1,500 should be going on to full-time further education.
