§ Mr. HayhoeOn 31 December 1979 there were, in all, 311 British loan Service personnel present in the following Middle Eastern countries: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. It is not the practice to disclose numbers of personnel in individual countries: details of arrangements between Governments are confidential.
