§ Mr. Morganasked the Secretary of State for Wales whether he will take immediate steps to provide insurance cover against acts of criminal damage committed to or within houses and other properties situated on the projected route of the North Wales expressway which have been vacated since the date in December 1977 when the present projected route was confirmed.
§ Mr. Nicholas Edwardsasked As trustee for the Crown, I carry my own risks and do not insure Crown property. I also accept responsibility from the time that I take possession of property. Prior to that insurance liability is the responsibility of the vendor. Vendors of properties being acquired under blight notices are specifically reminded of this when their blight notices are accepted.
