§ The Prime MinisterThe review is progressing and the major part should be completed by the end of June. The exercise is being co-ordinated by my hon. Friend the Under-Secretary of State for Industry with responsibility for small firms. My hon. Friend the Minister of State, Treasury announced on 28 February that the Government will be setting644W up a separate independent committee to review the enforcement powers of the Inland Revenue and the Customs and Excise.
