§ Sir George YoungIn the context of the negotiations with the tobacco industry on measures to succeed the existing voluntary agreement, my right hon. Friend has received representations recommending a ban on such advertising from the British Medical Association, the Royal College of General Practitioners and a considerable number of local medical committees. The Royal596W Medical Colleges in Scotland have written on the same theme to my hon. Friend the Under-Secretary of State at the Scottish Office.
