HC Deb 04 March 1980 vol 980 c172W
Mr. Ernie Ross

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what have been the number and percentage of improvement grants approved in Dundee in the past two years in the following sectors (a) local authority, (b) owner-occupier and (c) Scottish Special Housing Association and other housing associations.

Mr. Rifkind

The following table shows the number of dwellings in Dundee which have been improved by the various agencies in 1977 and 1978, the two most recent years for which complete figures are available:

power to accept complaints against the Scottish Special Housing Association or the Scottish New Town Development Corporation; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Rifkind

I am considering a recent suggestion that SSHA tenants should have access to the Commissioner for Local Administration. I have received no representations about new towns. I have no immediate plans for amending legislation.
