asked Her Majesty's Givernment:

Whether they are now in a position to give an undertaking as to the date on which a national voluntary mobility scheme as announced by the Minister of Housing on 6th March 1980 will come into operation.

Lord BELLWIN

The timetable for introducing the scheme is shortly to be considered by the National Mobility Scheme Working Group.

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they are able to release any detailed proposals for a national mobility scheme that go beyond the proposals of the Association of Metropolitan Authorities that were circulated to all local authority associations in December 1979.

The detailed proposals are still being worked up in collaboration with the local authority associations, the new towns, and the National Federation of Housing Associations.
