§ Mr. David MitchellDerelict land clearance areas have not been regarded as qualifying for assistance from the quota section of the European regional development fund. They might qualify for assistance from the non-quota section which currently amounts to 5 per cent. of the fund if suitable measures were proposed by the Commission and adopted by the Council.
