Mr. Nicholas Winterton

asked the Secretary of State for Trade how many people used the following regional airports in 1979 and how many have used them up to 30 June: Aberdeen, Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Carlisle, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow, Hurn, Leeds, Liverpool, Luton, Manchester, Norwich, Prestwick, Southampton, Southend and Stansted.

The number of terminal passengers who used the airports concerned in 1979 is given in the table below. The figures for the first half of this year are not yet available.
