How many convictions there have been for offences relating to shotgun certificates since the introduction of these certificates.

Shotgun certificates were introduced on 1st May 1968 under the Criminal Justice Act 1967. The numbers of convictions for principal offences relating to shotgun certificates in the years 1976 to 1978 are given in the following table. Information prior to 1976 could he provided only at disproportionate cost.
