§ Mrs. ChalkerAt August 1979, the average rent addition included in the assessment of all householders in receipt of supplementary benefit was £7.20. This includes water rates, mortgage interest for owner-occupiers, and so on, as well as rent and rates. It is not possible to give an estimate for rent and rates separately.
