Ian Paisleyasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will give an assurance that the support hitherto given to Northern Ireland students of the Open University to cover the cost of summer school fees and travel will still be available in 1981 in view of the 46 per cent. rise in Open University fees.
§ Mr. GoodhartAwards to Northern Ireland students of the Open University are made at the discretion of education and library boards. The boards will be considering these awards in the context of their overall budgets for 1981–82.
