§ Mr. Frank Allaunasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether, in view of the fact that the Health and Safety Commission did not have prior consultations with local authorities on its proposals for amendments to tests of scheduled works and noxious and offensive gases, he will ensure that in all similar proposals in future the practice of initial consultation is restored.
§ Mr. FoxA consultative document on the proposals for amendments to the lists of scheduled works and noxious and offensive gases was issued by the Health and Safety Commission and circulated widely inviting comment from interested bodies, including all the local authority associations.
