§ Mr. PrenticeThe Blissymbolics system is one of a number of communication systems used by people who have little or no speech. It is for the professional staff working with them to decide which system would be most appropriate for their needs. I could not give special support for one system. I understand that Blissymbolics is mainly used in some special schools which are the responsibility of my right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State for Education and Science.
