§ Mrs. Dunwoodyasked the Minister of Transport whether he will transfer the sub-unit of the road construction unit to the Cheshire county council in order to retain it as an efficient unit.
§ Mr. FowlerI have to consider all the cases put to me by county councils, including Cheshire county council, as part of the overall action study on the phasing out of road construction units. As I have said, I hope to be in a position to put firm proposals to the main organisations and individual county councils during September.
