§ Mr. Gordon Wilsonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list major land reclamation projects which are now awaiting expenditure approval, but which have had to be postponed due to restraints placed on capital expenditure.
§ Mr. Alexander Fletcher[pursuant to his reply, 30 July, 1980, c. 762]: The major land renewal schemes which the Scottish Development Agency has decided to defer from its original 1980– 81 programme are:
- Corbie Linn Mill, Selkirk.
- Bo'ness Foreshore, Phase 3.
- Gavieside Tip, West Lothian.
- Muirkirk Slag Heap, Cumnock and Doon Valley.
- Glasgow Gap sites (in Govan, Partick, Haghill and Blackhill).
- Meikle Earnock Bing, Hamilton.
- Cecil Street, Coatbridge.
- Harthill Bing.
A number of minor schemes have also been deferred.
