§ Sir Ian GilmourThe Government have every sympathy with Jews and others who have been refused permission to leave the Soviet Union. Regular representations have been made to the Soviet authorities in cases where there is a family connection with the United Kingdom. I should be glad to consider this in Mr. Gudz's case, subject to confirmation that his wife and daughter are resident in the United Kingdom.
