Mr. John Evans

asked the Secretary of State for Trade (1) in what sectors of manufactured goods United Kingdom trade is in deficit with the EEC; and what is the deficit in each sector;

(2) which sectors of manufactured goods in which the United Kingdom is currently in deficit with the EEC he anticipates will move into surplus in the next 12 months;

(3) which sectors of manufactured goods United Kingdom trade is in surplus with the EEC; and what is the surplus in each sector.
