§ Mr. Hodgsonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he is satisfied that electoral registration officers have sufficient powers under regulation 24 of the Representation of the People Regulations 1974 to ensure that electoral registers are compiled on a comparable basis throughout the United Kingdom; whether they are making use of these powers; and if he will make a statement.
