§ Mr. Dudley Smithasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what action he is taking in the interests of the 389 persons serving sentences in prison department establishments who are considered by prison medical officers to be suffering from mental disorders of a nature or degree warranting their detention in hospital for medical treatment under the Mental Health Act 1959.
