§ Mr. Patrick Jenkinasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will 337W ensure that new staff in his Department undergoing training learn about Whitley-ism from representatives of management as well as from trades union officials.
§ Mr. EnnalsAlthough in practice most of the training in Whitleyism in my Department is jointly conducted, the natural operation of Whitleyism can result in a staff side member doing it. I have no reason to believe that, where this happens, training is conducted other than in the Whitley spirit and the interests of good industrial relations in the Department.
