HC Deb 27 March 1979 vol 965 c163W
Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what are the actual or estimated initial and upkeep costs of running a piped North Sea gas supply to Northern Ireland; what plans the Government have for introducing such a scheme; and whether he will make a statement.

Mr. Concannon

These points will be covered in a memorandum on Northern Ireland's energy needs as a whole which will be placed in the Library before the Easter Recess. I shall be making an announcement at the same time.
