§ Mr. Gordon Wilsonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what representations have been made for the establish- 160W ment of a chiropody school in Dundee to attract more students from north of central Scotland to undertake training in chiropody; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Harry EwingLocal health councils in the Tayside area have made representations through hon. Members and to the Tayside health board about the desirability of establishing a new school of chiropody in Tayside. My Department is examining Scotland's total need for qualified chiropodists, and is considering whether this suggests the need for a new school or an increase in student intakes at the existing schools.
