§ Mr. Merlyn ReesIn accordance with decided cases concerning parliamentary elections, election expenses may be incurred at any time. As the regulations for the conduct of the European Assembly elections are based on the provisions relating to parliamentary elections, it may be assumed that the same principles apply.
