(2) how many complaints have been handled by the Fair Employment Agency during the latest 12–month period for which this information is available; how many of these were complaints against religious discrimination; and how many were upheld.

Mr. Concannon

A total of 43 complaints of unlawful discrimination have been made to the Fair Employment Agency during the 12 months ending 6 March 1979, of which 41 were on the grounds of religion. Investigations into 11 complaints have been completed, and led to one finding of unlawful discrimination on the grounds of religion. The other 32 complaints are under investigation.
