Miss Richardson

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will provide, for each year since 1951, for the towns of Belfast, Derry, Newry, Armagh, Strabane, Cookstown, Co. Tyrone and Larne (a) the number of occasions on which notice has been given to the appropriate authority under section 1(a) of the Public Order (Northern Ireland) Act 1951, (b) the number of prosecutions brought against organisers of processions under section l(2)(a) of the Act of 1951, (c) the number of prosecutions brought against organisers of processions under section 1(2)(b) of the Act of 1951, (d) the number of prosecutions against individuals taking part in a procession under section 1(2) of the Act of 1951 as amended, (e) for each of (b), (c) and (d) above, the number of persons convicted and (f) for each of (b), (c) and (d) above, the nature of the processions concerned.
